Smart Shield Solutions is a trade name (d/b/a) of Fast Locksmith LLC, 8200 Greensboro Drive, Suite 900, McLean, VA 22102.
This policy explains what personal information Smart Shield Solutions (“we”, “us”) collects when you do business with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our services, our website and customer document links, and the text messages we send.
Information we collect
- Contact details — name, company, email address, phone and mobile number, and service or billing address.
- Service details — the work we quote, schedule and perform for you, site notes, photos, estimates, invoices and signatures you give us.
- Payment details — card and bank payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Staff and subcontractor details — for people who work with us: contact details and the jobs assigned to them.
How we use it
- To provide, schedule and support the services you ask for.
- To send estimates, invoices, receipts, appointment confirmations and reminders, and updates about your job.
- To assign and coordinate work with our technicians and subcontractors.
- To take payment, keep business records, and meet our legal obligations.
Text messages (SMS)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We text only people who have agreed to receive our service text messages, either on our text message sign-up page or by saying yes when they book service with us by phone, email or in person. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that work for us — hosting and data storage, email and text message delivery, payment processing, and document storage — under obligations to protect it and use it only for us.
- Our technicians and subcontractors, who receive the job details they need to do your work.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not sell personal information. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Security and retention
We protect information with access controls, sign-in verification for our staff, and encrypted connections. We keep records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages.
- Ask us to update or correct your details, or to delete information we are not required to keep.
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
